Slovenia’s weeklong animation festival promises to deliver the best and latest productions from the Eastern and Central European film scene
The annual international animation festival takes place in Ljubljana, Slovenia and focuses on high quality auteur films. Kicking off December 1, Animateka’s 22nd edition will showcase a program of Eastern, Central, and Southern short films; European student animated shorts; international animated short films for children; and a VR competition. In addition, audiences can enjoy author talks, masterclasses, round tables, a regional pitching session (all within the industry-oriented platform AnimatekaPRO), workshops, exhibitions, concerts, and informal gatherings.
