Organized by GSIFA, the fifth edition of the international animation film festival runs November 11-16 in Lugano, Switzerland.
Lugano Animation Days is an international animation festival for professionals, students, and enthusiasts alike. This year, the festival includes a competition with four categories (Swiss Competition, International Competition, Kids Competition, and Student Competition), a networking day dedicated to Swiss animation professionals, and an exhibition of animated artworks by Swiss artists (KineticLAD). LAD 2025 will also feature a workshop to introduce kids to stop-motion animation and a series of masterclasses focusing on animation techniques by Swiss author and director Basil Vogt.
